Randall Thomas has earned a reputation as one of the most productive and thoughtful corporate and securities law scholars in the nation. His recent work addresses hedge fund shareholder activism, executive compensation, corporate voting, corporate litigation, shareholder voting, and mergers and acquisitions. He teaches Corporations, Securities Regulation, the Law and Business Seminar.

Professor James H. Cheek III James H. Cheek III, Professor of the Practice of Law, is a partner in the Nashville-based Bass Berry Sims and a nationally renowned securities expert. Professor Paul Edelman Paul Edelman, Professor of Mathematics and Professor of Law, is a distinguished mathematician whose work pertaining to the law includes judicial decision making, the electoral vote system, and corporations.
Professor Robert S. Reder Robert S. Reder, Professor of the Practice of Law, had over 33 years of in transactional practice as a partner of Milbank Tweed Hadley & McCloy in New York. Professor Morgan Ricks Morgan Ricks, Assistant Professor of Law, studies financial regulation. He is a former senior policy advisor and financial restructuring expert at the U.S. Treasury Department.
Professor Amanda Rose Amanda Rose, Professor of Law, focuses on corporate and securities law and the institutional design of enforcement regimes. Professor Herwig Schlunk Herwig Schlunk, Professor of Law, focuses his scholarship on questions of corporate income taxation and individual income taxation.
Professor Jeffrey Schoenblum Jeffrey Schoenblum, Centennial Professor of Law, is one of the world's preeminent scholars and experts on international estate taxation and wealth transfers. Professor Yesha YadavYesha Yadav, Associate Professor of Law, studies financial and securities regulation, focusing on the response of regulatory policy to innovations in financial engineering, market microstructure and globalization.
